We Who Remain TV documentary
This documentary broadcast on German TV follows the life of four people during the fighting season of one of the longest ongoing wars in the world. Since 2011 Sudan’s government has waged a bombing campaign against civilians it accuses of supporting Nuban rebels. Cheap shrapnel bombs are dropped out of Antontov cargo planes nearly every day. The campaign has terrorized the people of the Nuba mountains, forcing many to flee, and making it difficult for others to plant and tend their farms.
